Proton-elimination Reaction of Phenolic Hydroxyl Proton on Schiff-base

Abstract：Proton-elimination reaction methods of phenolic hydroxyl on Schiff-base are introduced in anhydrous,oxygen-free and aprotic solvent system.Metal Schiff-base complexes containing the M-O(Ar)bond can often be synthetized by the method above.Meanwhile,the abnormal phenomena in some methods are pointed out.Common proton-elimination reagents include metal organic reagents(M-C),metal hydride reagents(M-H), active metal reagents(M),metal nitride reagents(M-N)and metal aromatic oxygen(alkoxy)reagents(M-O).
