The Review of Web-based Out of Vocabulary Translation Technology

Abstract：With the development of the Internet,the exchange of information between languages and cross-language information retrieval technology are growing.Among them,the unknown word (Out ofVocabulary, abbreviated as OOV) query translation is one of the key technologies in cross-language information retrieval which has a direct impact on the performance of cross-language information retrieval system.This paper addresses Web-based Translation Technology for Out-Of-Vocabulary,including the major methods and technical difficulties.This paper describes the current popularity of web-based information to achieve the unknown word translation mining of various technologies and their features.
