Array Cymbal Harvester Design and the Establishment of the Energy Harvesting Mathematical Model

Abstract：A new type of array Cymbal piezoelectric harvester is presented in this paper.The harvester is composed of several independent circular arrays of Cymbal.This harvester is especially suitable for large area source of vibration energy harvesting.Based on piezoelectric equation,the mathematical model of open-circuit voltage and power for array Cymbal harvester is derived.From theoretical analysis,the open-circuit voltage of the array Cymbal harvester equals to a single cymbal and the output power is several times of a single cymbal.Finite element calculation proves the correctness of the mathematical model.
