Analysis of Plus or Minus in ＂Architectural Mechanics＂
Abstract：In order to make the students understand provision of plus or minus in ＂Architectural Mechanics＂, plus or minus is analyzed in ＂Architectural Mechanics＂ by way of examples to get, the conclusion that because the statics study object is rigid, so plus or minus is represented by two possible trends of movement, such as the projection of a force, torque and moment of couple and because the material mechanics research object is a deformable body, so plus or minus represents two possible deformation trends, such as the axial force, bending moment, shear force, normal stress and shear stress.
