Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of comfort nursing based on evidence-based theory in pediatric surgical anesthesia nursing. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 120 children undergone surgical anesthesia and were treated at Kaifeng Children's Hospital from March 2023 to March 2025.They were divided into an observation group and a control group according to different nursing methods, with 60 cases in each group. The children in the control group were given traditional nursing methods, while those in the observation group were given comfortable nursing methods based on evidence-based theory. The recovery-related indicators, postoperactivo vital signs, awakening restlessness, psychological state before and after the operation, and satisfaction of the two groups of children were compared. Results The complete awakening time, recovery time of spontaneous breathing, stay in the room and hospital stay of the children in the observation group were all shouter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the operation, the heart rate of children in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while the mean arterial pressure, blood oxygen saturation and awakening body temperature were all higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of awakening restlessness in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One week after the operation, the scores of the screen for anxiety related emotional disorders in children(SCARED),the symptom rating scale for depression in children(DSRSC),and the medical fear scale for children(CMFS)in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of the children in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comfort care based on evidence-based theory can promote the recovery of children, stabilize vital signs, reduce awakening restlessness, improve psychological state and enhance satisfaction.
