Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of local rotating flaps combined with growth factor gel in the treatment of sacrococcygeal pressure ulcers, and to provide an optimized treatment plan for sacrococcygeal pressure ulcers. Methods Eighty patients with sacrococcygeal pressure ulcers admitted to Zhoukou Orthopedic Hospital from January 2023 to May 2025 were selected as the research subjects and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received conventional dressing change treatment, while patients in the observation group received classic local rotating flap surgery combined with growth factor gel treatment. The recovery conditions of the two groups of patients were compared, including the degree of pain,inflammation-related indicators, recovery of pressure ulcers and the occurrence of adverse reactions before and after treatment Results The disappearance time of exudate and the recovery time of patients in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the number of dressing changes was less than that in the control group, with statistilally signficat differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores of the two groups of patients gradually decreased, and the scores of the observation group at each time point were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the white blood cell count(WBC),the levels of serum C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)of patients in both groups gradually decreased, and the levels of the above indexes of the observation group at each time point were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the pressure ulcer healing assessment scale(PUSH)scores of the two groups of patients gradually decreased, and the scores of the observation group at each time point were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion Local rotating flaps combined with growth factor gel in the treatment of sacrococcygeal pressure ulcers can promote recovery, alleviate patients'pain and inflammatory responses, and have relatively high safety.
