Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Reunion of Heat-toxin Ning injection combined with Montelukast Sodium and Azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonise pneumonia(MPP)in children. Methods A total of 106 children with MPP who visited Shangcai Chongyang Hospital from June 2023 to January 2025 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group received treatment with Montelukast Sodium+Azithromycin, while the observation group received treatment with Reunion of Heat-toxin Ning injection in addition to the treatment of the control group. The infammatory-related indicators, lung function, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores before and after treatment, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of serum ferritin(SF),C-reactive protein(CRP),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and the scores of severe fever, wheezing and coughing in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the tidal volume(V-T),peak time ratio(T-PTEF/t-E),and inspiratory mid-flow rate to expiratory mid-flow rate ratio(MTIF/MTEF)were greater than those in the control group, the above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion For children with MPP,the treatment with Heat-toxin Ning injection, combined with Montelukast Sodium and Azithromycin, can inhibit inflammatory responses, improve lung function, alleviate clinical symptoms, enhance clinical efficacy, and does not increase adverse reactions.
