Application Research of Flipped Classroom Teaching Model in Nursing Education

Abstract：Objective To analyze and explore the application value of the flipped classroom teaching model in nursing education.Methods This study adopted a historical control research design.A total of 189 vocational college nursing students from a tertiary hospital of Zhangzhou from November 2017 to November 2019 were selected as a control group,and 192 vocational college nursing students from the same department from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as an observation group.Both groups of vocational college nursing students received the same teaching content and frequency.The control group of vocational college nursing students adopted the traditional teaching model,while the observation group adopted the flipped classroom teaching model.The examination scores,satisfaction with the nursing teaching model,and self-study ability before and after teaching of the two groups of vocational college nursing students were compared.Results The theoretical and practical scores of the vocational college nursing students in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total satisfaction rate of the vocational college nursing students in the observation group with the nursing teaching model was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after teaching,the scores of each dimension of the vocational college nursing students in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the flipped classroom teaching model has significant effects,which can effectively stimulate the learning enthusiasm of vocational college nursing students and improve teaching satisfaction.
