Abstract:Objective To explore the improvement effect of Roxadustat combined with recombinant human erythropoietin(rHuEPO)and iron sucrose on anemia status and microinflammation in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients. Methods A total of 100 MHD patients with renal anemia admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Longyan Fujian Medical University from January 2022 to January 2025 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 50 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with subcutaneous injection of rHuEPO combined with intravenous infusion of iron sucrose, while patients in the observation group were treated with oral Roxadustat on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 3 months. The clinical efficacy,anemia-related indicators[hemoglobin(Hb),hematocrit(Hct),serum ferritin(SF),transferrin saturation(TSAT)],microinflammation indicators[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)],and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of Hb,Hct,SF,and TSAT in both groups were higher than those before treatment, and the levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group. The levels of serum hs-CRP,IL-6,and TNF-α were lower than those before treatment, and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Roxadustat combined with rHuEPO and iron sucrose can effectively correct anemia in MHD patients, improve iron metabolism levels, and reduce microinflammation, without increasing the risk of adverse reactions.
