Abstract:Objective To explore the medication patterns of Professor Leng Jinhong in treating thyroid nodules(TN)based on real-world deta. Methods The medical records of patients treated by Professor Leng Jinhong at the expert outpatient department of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to October 2024 were used.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,306 cases were included.Excel,IBM SPSS 26.0,and SPSS Modeler 18.0 were used for statistical analysis. Results A total of 121 traditional Chinese medicines were involved. The top six frequently used drugs were Poria cocos,Bupleurum,Oyster shell,Honey-fried Glycyrrhiza,Atractylodes, and Peony bark. From the perspective of drug properties and flarors,cold-natured drugs were used most frequently among the four natures, and sweet-tasting drugs were used most frequently among the five flavors.Cluster analysis identified five groups of drug combinations, and the association rule results showed that Poria cocos-Bupleurum was the most frequent drug pair and had the highest confidence level, indicating a significant synergistic effect in the treatment of TN.Conclusion The medication patterns of Professor Leng in treating TN can be summarized as being guided by the"One Qi Circulation"theory of Huang Yuanyu, with the treatment approach focusing on"regulating the liver as the main point and simultaneously regulating the liver, spleen, and kidney."This study further substantiates the scientific connotation of the"Qi and Water Co-treatment"Poria cocos-Bupleurum drug pair.
