Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of detecting urinary microalbumin(m-ALB),serum neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(NGAL),and homocysteine(Hcy)in the risk assessment of early renal injury in diabetes. Methods A total of 92 diabetic patients who visited Puyang People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into an occurrence group(43 cases)and a non-occurrence group(49 cases)according to whether renal injury occurred within half a year of follow-up.The urine routine indicators and biochemical indicators of the two groups were compared.Multivariate logistic regression analysis and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve were used to analyze the correlations and predictive values of urine routine indicators, biochemical indicators and early renal injury in diabetes. Results The levels of m-ALB and urine glucose in the occurrence group were higher than those in the non-occurrence group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of serum NGAL,Hcy and cystatin C(CysC)in the occurrence group were higher than those in the non-occurrence group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that m-ALB,NGAL and Hcy were all independent influencing factors for the occurrence of early renal injury in diabetes(P<0.05);ROC curve analysis showed that m-ALB,NGAL,and Hcy all had certain predictive values for early renal injury in diabetes, with the areas under the curves being 0.892,0.721,and 0.860 respectively(P<0.05),among which m-ALB had the highest predictive value. Conclusion m-ALB,NGAL,and Hcy are closely related to early renal injury in diabetes and have certain predictive value for early renal injury. They should be closely monitored in clinical practice to prevent or treat the disease in a timely manner.
