Analysis of the Effect of Combined Application of Bletilla Striata and Esomeprazole in Patients with Peptic Ulcer Complicated with Hemorrhage

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of combined application of Bletilla striata and esomeprazole in patients with peptic ulcer complicated with hemorrhage.Methods A total of 65 patients with peptic ulcer complicated with hemorrhage admitted to Doumen Qiaoli Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Zhuhai from January 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into a control group(33 cases)and an observation group(32 cases).Patients in the control group were treated with conventional esomeprazole,while those in the observation group were treated with Bletilla striata combined with esomeprazole.The clinical efficacy,clinical related indicators,The leuels of serum inflammatory factors[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)],coagulation function[fibrinogen(FIB)level,prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)],adverse reactions and quality of life[World Health Organization quality of life-BREF(WHOQOL-BREF)score]of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The hemostasis time,the time for fecal occult blood test to turn negative,and the discharge time of the observation group were all shorter than those of the control group,and the blood transfusion volume was less than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum hs-CRP,TNF-α,and IL-6 in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and the indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of FIB in both groups was higher than that before treatment,and the index in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,while the PT and APTT were shorter than those before treatment,and the indexes in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the WHOQOL-BREF scores of both groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with peptic ulcer complicated with hemorrhage,the application of Bletilla striata on the basis of esomeprazole treatment has a significant hemostatic effect,can improve the coagulation function and quality of life of patients,alleviate inflammatory response,promote patient recovery,and has high safety.
