Abstract:Objective To analyze the value of detecting the levels of serum eosinophilic chemokine(Eotaxin),interferon-γ(IFN-γ),and C-reactive protein(CRP)in predicting refractory mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(RMPP)in children. Methods A total of 210 children with mycoplasma pneumonia(MP)who visited the Deparment of Respiratoy,Children's Hospital Affiliated of Zhengzhou University from May 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the research subjects.Taking the combined clinical comprehensive manifestations of MP-RNA detection and clinical manifestations,as well as pulmonary imaging,as the gold standard, the specific numbers of refractory children and common children among the 210 children were determined. All the children patients underwent the detection of Eotaxin,IFN-γ and CRP levels, and the results were compared with the gold standard results. The diagnostic results and diagnostic efficacy of Eotaxin,IFN-γ and CRP alone and in combination for RMPP were analyzed. And compare the levels of Eotaxin,IFN-γ and CRP between children with common MP and children with RMPP.Results Among the 210 children with MP,the gold standard results showed that 74 cases were refractory children and 136 cases were common children. The Eotaxin test showed that there were 51 cases of refractory children and 121 cases of common children. The IFN-γ test showed that there were 49 cases of refractory children and 117 cases of common children. The CRP test showed that there were 53 cases of refractory children and 118 cases of common children. The combined detection of the three showed that there were 73 cases of refractory children and 117 cases of common children. The combined detection sensitivity of the three was[98.65%(73/74)]and the accuracy was[90.48%(190/210)],which were higher than those of Eotaxin detection[68.92%(51/74),81.90%(172/210)]and IFN-γ detection[66.22%(49/74),79.05%(166/210)]and CRP tests[71.62%(53/74),81.43%(171/210)]were high, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with children with common MP,children with RMPP had higher levels of Eotaxin,IFN-γ and CRP,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of serum Eotaxin,IFN-γ,and CRP in children with RMPP will increase significantly. Moreover, the combined detection of the above indicators can not only improve the diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity, but also predict the severity of the disease, providing a reference basis for formulating treatment plans.
