Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of targeted therapy combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy on non-small cell lung cancer. Methods A total of 150 patients with non-small cell lung cancer admitted to Anyang Cancer Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 75 patients in each group, using a random number table method. The control group patients only received radiotherapy and chemotherapy, while the observation group received targeted therapy in combination with the control group. The efficacy, tumor marker levels, immune function, improvement rate of quality of life, and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups of patients were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment, the levels of serum carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC-Ag),cyclooxygenase(COX),telomerase(TRIM59),cytokeratin 21-1(cyfra21-1),and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment, the levels of immunoglobulin(Ig)A,IgM,and IgG in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The improvement rate of quality of life in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of drvrse reactions such as nausea and vomiting, limb weakness, leukopenia, rapid increase in alanine aminotransferase/aspartate aminotransferase, elevated creatinine, and bone marrow suppression between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion Targeted therapy combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy can improve tumor marker level, immune function, and quality of life in patients with non-small cell lung cancer, with significant therapeutic effects.
