Abstract:Objective To study the effect of cardiac rehabilitation on cardiac function in patients with viral myocarditis. Methods A total of 158 patients with viral myocarditis who visited the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Chest Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the cardiac rehabilitation group(intervention based on cardiac function grading)and the conventional intervention group(conventional methods for intervention),with 79 cases in each group. The cardiac function classification, cardiac function,6-minute walking distance(6MWD),myocardial enzyme spectrum, serum inflammatory factor levels, balance function, fatigue degree, physical function, ability of daily living, quality of life, clinical efficacy and occurrence of adverse events of the two groups of patients were compared. Results After the intervention, the cardiac function classification of patients in the cardiac rehabilitation group was better than that in the conventional intervention group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),and left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)of patients in the cardiac rehabilitation group were all smaller than those in the conventional intervention group. The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and 6MWD were both greater than those in the conventional intervention group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the levels of serum creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),troponin T(cTnT),troponin I(cTnI),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)in patients of the cardiac rehabilitation group were all lower than those in the conventional intervention group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the Berg score, the Chinese version of the mini-physical function assessment tool(CM-PPT)score,the Barthel index(BI)score, the quality of life score, and the total effective rate of patients in the cardiac rehabilitation group were all higher than those in the conventional intervention group, while the Porg score and the incidence of adverse events were lower than those in the conventional intervention group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Cardiac rehabilitation for patients with viral myocarditis can optimize cardiac function classification, improve cardiac function, prolong 6MWD,reduce myocardial enzyme profiles and serum inflammatory factor levels, enhance balance function, reduce fatigue degree, improve physical function, enhance patients'ability of daily living and quality of life, and the incidence of adverse events is relatively low.
