The Effect of Open Surgery and Endoscopic Surgery on the Treatment of Thyroid Malignant Tumors and Their Impact on Serum Tg and TgAb Levels

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effects of open surgery and endoscopic surgery on patients with thyroid malignant tumors and their impact on serum thyroid glycoprotein(Tg)and thyroid globulin antibody(TgAb)levels.Methods A total of 90 patients who visited the General Surgery Department of Pingdingshan First People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into an intervention group(45 cases,modified Miccoli endoscopic surgery)and a control group(45 cases,open radical thyroidectomy)according to a random number table method.The treatment effects and the level of serum Tg and TgAb before surgery,6 months after surgery,and at the last follow-up were compared between the two groups of patients.Results The total clinical effective rate of the intervention group(93.33%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(77.78%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Compared with preoperative levels,the levels of serum Tg and TgAb of both groups of patients decreased after surgery,and the levels of serum Tg and TgAb of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group at 6 months after surgery and the last follow-up,with statistical significances(P<0.05);Postoperative follow-up showed no recurrence in the intervention group,while there were 2 cases of recurrence in the control group.Conclusion The use of improved Miccoli endoscopic surgery has a clear therapeutic effect on patients with thyroid malignant tumors,effectively reducing their serum Tg and TgAb levels and suppressing the risk of recurrence.
