Abstract:Objective To research and analyze the clinical effect of mouse nerve growth factor combined with Xingnaojing injection in the treatment of patients after hypertension intracerebral hemorrhage(HICH)surgery. Methods A total of 71 patients after HICH surgery admitted to Xinxiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from December 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into a control group(36 cases)and an observation group(35 cases). The control group was treated with Xingnaojing injection, and the observation group was treated with mouse nerve growth factor on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The volume of cerebral edema, scores of neurological function and activities of daily living, indexes of serum inflammatory factors, indexes of brain injury markers and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results At 7 days and 14 days after treatment, the volume of cerebral edema in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, comparing the scores of the National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)and the Barthel index(BI)between the two groups, the NIHSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the BI score was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, comparing the levels of serum inflammatory factors[serum interleukin-8(IL-8),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]between the two groups, the levels of all the indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, comparing the levels of brain injury marker indexes[serum S100 calcium-binding protein β(S100β),serum neuron-specific enolase(NSE)]between the two groups, the levels of the indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no obvious adverse drug reactions in the two groups during the treatment period. Conclusion The combined treatment of mouse nerve growth factor and Xingnaojing injection for patients after HICH surgery can inhibit the inflammatory response, reduce the volume of cerebral edema, decrease brain injury, promote the recovery of neurological function, improve the patients'ability of activities of daily living, and no adverse reactions are observed.
