Abstract:Objective To construct a comprehensive evaluation system of provincial medical and health level in China, analyze the characteristics and influencing factors of the spatio-temporal change of medical and health level, and explore the coordinated development strategy of provincial medical and health level. Methods The entropy weight approximation ideal solution ranking method(TOPSIS)model was used to estimate the level of medical and health resources and service in various provinces in China during 2011-2020,and the spatio-temporal geographical weighted regression model(GTWR)was constructed to explore the driving effect of social, economic and demographic factors on the medical and health level. Results The level of medical and health resources and service increased steadily, but the problem of uneven distribution of medical and health resources still existed. The urbanization rate and industrial structure can effectively improve the medical and health level of developed provinces. The per capita disposable income and the ratio of the elderly population to support each province's medical and health level are mainly promoted.Income gap and population density have a negative impact on the level of health care in each province. Conclusion Based on the analysis of GTWR model, the medical and health level should be improved mainly from two aspects:optimizing the allocation of medical and health resources and improving the operating efficiency of medical and health service system.
