Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of the method of invigorating spleen and benefiting kidney in the treatment of chronic renal failure with hemodialysis anemia. Methods A total of 60 patients with chronic renal failure and hemodialysis anemia treated at Youxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment, while the observation group received the method of invigorating spleen and benefiting kidney in addition to the treatment in the control group. The renal function indicators[urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),albumin/creatinine ratio(ACR),urinary liver-type fatty acid-binding protein(L-FABP)],anemia indicators[red blood cell count(RBC),hemoglobin concentration(Hb),hematocrit(Hct)],and traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores(lumbar and knee weakness, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, frequent nocturia)were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of UAER,ACR,and L-FABP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);the levels of RBC,Hb,and Hct in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);the traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The method of invigorating spleen and benefiting kidney can effectively improve the renal function of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis and anemia, and has a good effect on improving anemia, which can be used as an auxiliary treatment method for such patients.
