Study on the Application of Upper Limb Rehabilitation Robot Combined with Acupuncture in Patients with Upper Limb Dysfunction after Stroke

Abstract:Objective To analyze the effects of upper limb rehabilitation robot combined with acupuncture in patients with upper limb dysfunction after stroke.Methods A total of 120 patients with upper limb dysfunction after stroke admitted to the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of Lianjiang People's Hospital from January 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to different treatment methods,with 60 cases in each group.Both groups received acupuncture treatment.In addition to acupuncture,the control group received conventional training intervention,while the observation group received upper limb rehabilitation robot intervention.The motor function,activities of daily living,and proprioceptive disorders(Tecnobody)including lower limb,trunk,and upper limb motor control abilities,as well as the assessment and training of weight-bearing sensation were evaluated after treatment.Results The scores of motor function,activities of daily living,and proprioceptive disorders in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined treatment of upper limb rehabilitation robot and acupuncture shows excellent effects in patients with upper limb dysfunction after stroke.
