The Efficacy of Kidney Tonifying Sequential Method Combined with Letrozole in the Treatment of Ovulatory Infertility

Abstract：Objective Based on the theory of"kidney governs reproduction",this study aims to explore the clinical efficacy of sequential kidney tonifying method combined with letrozole(LE)for ovulation induction in patients with ovulatory infertility.Methods Sixty four patients with ovulatory infertility who visited Nanping People's Hospital from June 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 32 patients in each group,using a random envelope method.The control group patients were given LE to promote excretion,while the observation group patients were given traditional Chinese medicine kidney tonifying sequential method on the basis of the control group.the ovarian function indicators(maximum follicle diameter and endometrial thickness),ovulation rate,pregnancy rate,and total effective rate between two groups of patients were compared before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the maximum follicle diameter and endometrial thickness of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate were higher than those of the control group,the total effective rate of treatment of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Based on the theory of"kidney governs reproduction",the sequential method of kidney tonifying combined with LE stimulation can improve the physical fitness and ovarian function of patients with ovulatory infertility,increase endometrial receptivity,and achieve good ovulation and pregnancy rates.
