Effect of Yindanpinggan Capsule Combined with Probiotic/Prebiotic Preparations on Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Patients

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of Yindanpinggan capsule combined with probiotic/prebiotic preparations on glucose and lipid metabolism,serum levels of 25 hydroxyvitamin D[25(OH)D]and cystatin C(Cys-C)in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods A total of 150 patients with NAFLD admitted to Nanping First Hospital from February 2021 to February 2024 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into a control group(treated with probiotic/prebiotic preparations)and an observation group(treated with Yingdanpinggan capsule on the basis of control group)according to envelope randomization method,with 75 cases in each group.Before treatment and one month after treatment,the blood lipid indexes[triglycerides(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)],blood glucose indexes[fasting blood glucose(FPG),glycated hemoglobin(HbAlc)],serum 25(OH)D,Cys-C and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between the two groups.Results After one month of treatment,the levels of TG,LDL-C,FPG,HbA1c and CYS-C were decreased in both groups,and the observation group had lower levels than the control group.The levels of 25(OH)D in two groups were increased,and the observation group had higher levels than the control group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusion Yindanpinggan capsule combined with probiotic/prebiotic preparations can effectively improve glucose and lipid metabolism and regulate serum 25(OH)D and Cys-C levels in patients with NAFLD,with high safety.
