Abstract:Objective To explore and analyze the clinical efficacy of fenagliptin combined with Bailing Tablets in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. Methods Seventy patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy admitted to Gao'an People's Hospital from October 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the research subjects and divided into an observation group(35 cases)and a control group(35 cases)using a single and double number lottery method.Patients in the observation group were treated with fenagliptin combined with Bailing Tablets, while patients in the control group were treated with Bailing Tablets alone. The levels of inflammatory factors, renal function indicators, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The levels of blood urea nitrogen(BUN),creatinine(Cr),and urine microalbumin(mAlb)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between two groups of patients was compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of fenagliptin and Bailing Tablets is significantly effective in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy, effectively controlling the condition, with marked improvements in inflammatory factors and renal function indicators, and the incidence of adverse reactions is relatively low.
