Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of"Liji Acupuncture"combined with"Xiasanhuang"acupoint in the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence(Spleen-Kidney Yang deficiency type). Methods Forty-eight female patients with stress urinary incontinence who visited The Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from February 2023 to December 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 24 cases in each group. Both groups of patients underwent pelvic floor muscle exercises.Patients in the control group were treated with conventional acupuncture on this basis, while patients in the observation group were treated with"Liji Acupuncture"combined with"Xiasanhuang"acupoint in addition to the treatment in the control group. The differences in international consultation on incontinence questionnaire-short form(ICI-Q-SF)scores,bladder residual urine volume,1-hour pad test,Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)score, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptom score before and after treatment, and clinical efficacy were observed in both groups. Results After treatment, the scores of ICI-Q-SF,HAMA,and HAMD of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The bladder residual urine volume and 1-hour pad weight in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The TCM symptom scores and total symptom score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was 95.83%,which was higher than 87.50%in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion"Liji Acupuncture"combined with"Xiasanhuang"acupoint can significantly alleviate the symptoms of urinary incontinence and improve the anxiety and depression of patients.
