Abstract:Objective To analyze the efficacy of thoracoscopic surgery in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 70 NSCLC patients admitted to Fuzhou Second General Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023.They were divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 35 cases, based on different surgical plans. The control group underwent three-port thoracoscopic surgery, while the observation group underwent single-port thoracoscopic surgery. The efficacy differences were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the effective treatment rate between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the normal rate service(NRS)scores at different postoperative time points between the two groups(P>0.05).One week after surgery, there was no significant difference in the levels of serum C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-8(IL-8),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant differences in intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage and hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the surgical treatment of NSCLC patients, both single-port and three-port thoracoscopic surgeries can achieve significant efficacy. The single-port technique has a longer operation time, but there is no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay, and complications. With the use of single-port surgical instruments and the improvement of surgeons'skills, the operation time can be comparable to that of three-port surgery. The choice between single-port and three-port can be determined according to the surgeon's preference.
