Abstract:Objective To compare the effects of single incision radical mastectomy and modified radical mastectomy on postoperative stress response and prognosis of breast cancer patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with breast cancer admitted to Zhumadian Central Hospital from January 2018 to January 2021 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer, and the observation group received single incision radical mastectomy for breast cancer. The perioperative indicators, changes in stress response indicators, postoperative excellent rate of breast aesthetic evaluation, incidence of postoperative complications,3-year recurrence and metastasis rates, and changes in quality of life between two groups of patients were compared. Results The intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the operation time and hospitalization time were shorter than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The levels of serum cortisol(COR),norepinephrine(NE),and epinephrine(EP)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group 7 days after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent rate of breast aesthetic evaluation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of complications,3-year postoperative recurrence rate, and metastasis rate between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).After surgery, both groups of patients showed an increase in the World Health Organization Quality of Life Short Form(WHOQOL-BREF)scores,and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The single incision radical mastectomy for breast cancer patients can reduce the intraoperative trauma, shorten hospital stay, reduce perioperative stress response level of patients, and improve the excellent rat of breast aesthetic evaluation of patients. It has higher safety, and improve the quality of life of patients.
