Clinical Efficacy of Ambroxol Hydrochloride Combined with Han Chuan Zu Pa Granules in the Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with Han Chuan Zu Pa granules in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods A total of 100 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease admitted to the Ganzhou Fifth People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using the whole sampling method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received ambroxol hydrochloride alone,while the observation group received ambroxol hydrochloride combined with Han Chuan Zu Pa granules.The differences in quality of life indicators and safety indicators between the two groups were compared.Results After 2 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment,the St.George's Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ)and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Self-assessment Test(CAT)scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the 6-minute walking test of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The maximum ventilation volume(MMV),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),total lung capacity(TLC),the ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC),and carbon monoxide diffusion capacity(DLCO)of the observation group were all significantly higher than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The clinical application of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with Han Chuan Zu Pa granules in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease can achieve ideal results,which is beneficial to improving the lung function of patients and their quality of life,and has certain safety.
