Clinical Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Umbilical Compress Combined with Ultrasound Pulse Conductance Therapy on Intestinal Function Recovery after Cesarean Section

Abstract：Objective To study the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)umbilical compress combined with ultrasonic pulse conductance in promoting intestinal function recovery after cesarean section.Methods A total of 80 cases of cesarean section admitted to Shenzhen Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects,and divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment after cesarean section,and the observation group received TCM umbilical compress combined with ultrasonic pulse conductance therapy on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared after cesarean section.Results The recovery time of bowel sounds,bed movement time,exhaust time,and defecation time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of abdominal distension in the observation group was obviously lower than that ofthecontrol group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of maternal treatment in the observation group was 92.5%,which was higher than 67.5%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of TCM umbilical compress combined with ultrasonic pulse conductance is remarkable.
