Abstract:Objective Analyze the clinical distribution and drug resistance trend of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Xiamen Humanity Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from 2019 to 2023,to enhance the rationality of clinical antibiotic use and offer insights for formulating subsequent prevention and control strategies. Methods The specimens from patients in various departments of Xiamen Humanity Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University, obtain 958 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and the distribution of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in different specimens and departments, along with the results of drug sensitivity tests were recorded. Results Out of 958 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa,68.89%were derived from sputum samples of patients, and 12.94%were urine samples; The detection rate of critical care medicine is the highest at 34.55%,followed by respiratory medicine at 19.10%,neurosurgery at 8.45%,and burn plastic surgery and wound repair at 4.07%.The results of drug sensitivity test showed that Pseudomonas aeruginosa had low resistance rates to colistin, amikacin and tobramycin,at 0.00%,1.88%and 4.49%,respectively;The resistance rates to ticarcillin/clavulanic acid, levofloxacin and aztreonam were 30.79%,25.05%and 21.50%,respectively.Conclusion From 2019 to 2023,Pseudomonas aeruginosa was widely distributed in Xiamen Humanity Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University, and the drug resistance rate was concentrated in the range of 10%-30%,and the overall drug resistance trend was increasing. It is necessary to continue to strengthen the standardized use of antimicrobial drugs and take preventive measures during the clinical diagnosis and treatment stages.
