Observation on the Clinical Effect of Purslane Extract on Treating Oral Ulcer

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect of purslane on patients with oral ulcer, and to provide reference for further research on whether purslane has the effect of treating oral ulcer. Methods Seventy-two patients with oral ulcer admitted to the Changping people's Hospital of Dongguan from January 2017 to December 2017 were randomly divided into experimental group, control group.The experimental group was treated with topical smear of purslane extract, and control group with iodoglycerol, oral vitamin B and vitamin C at the same time for 7 days.The duration of pain episodes, redness and remission, ulcer disappearance time and ulcer recurrence were used to evaluate the clinical effect of purslane extract. Results The ulcer healing time, pain disappearing time and redness and remission time of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Purslane extract has exact clinical effect on patients with oral ulcer.
