Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect of Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets combined with metformin in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods A total of 91 patients with PCOS treated in Guangzhou women's and children's medical center from June 2016 to December 2017 were selected as research objects, and divided into observation group and control group.Patients in the observation group were treated with drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablets combined with metformin, while patients in the control were treated with Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets. The clinical indicators of the two groups before and after treatment for 3 months were compared. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the indexes of the two groups (P> 0.05). After treatment, the luteinizing hormone (LH), testosterone (T), luteinizing hormone/follicle hormone ratio (LH/FSH) of the two groups were significantly decreased (P < 0.05). After treatment, the fasting insulin (FINS), insulin resistance index of homa mode (Homa-IR), body weight (W), body mass index (BMI) and waist/hip ratio of the observation group were significantly improved (P < 0.05). Conclusion The use of drospirenone ethinyl estradiol tablets (Ⅱ) combined with metformin can effectively improve the gynecological endocrine index of patients with PCOS, relieve insulin resistance, and the effect is significant, and reduce the body weight and body mass index of PCOS patients.
