Abstract:Objective To explore the changes and clinical significance of serum miRNA-126 and miRNA-320 levels in patients with in-stent restenosis of coronary arteries. Methods A total of 152 patients with in-stent restenosis of coronary arteries admitted to the hospital between January 2023 and January 2024 were selected as the study group, and another 44 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention during the same period(without in-stent restenosis of coronary arteries)were selected as the control group. The general information and experimental value indicators of the two groups of patients were collected, and serum miRNA-126 and miRNA-320 levels were detected. Results There was no significant difference in gender, age, body mass index, duration of coronary heart disease, smoking history, drinking history, combined hypertension, combined hyperlipidemia, types of coronary heart disease, number of coronary lesions, calcification, stent diam-eter,stent length, stent release time, total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein, low density lipopro-tein,and fasting blood glucose in both groups(P>0.05).However,diabetes mellitus, serum C-reactive protein, and miRNA-320 level were higher(P<0.05),and serum miRNA-126 levels were lower in the study group(P<0.05).Diabetes,serum miRNA-126 and miRNA-320 levels are all independent risk factors for in-stent restenosis of coronary arteries(P<0.05).The optimal cut-off points of serum miRNA-126 and miRNA-320 levels for predict-ing in-stent restenosis of coronary arteries were 2.89 and 0.32,respectively.The areas under the curve(AUC)were 0.844 and 0.865,respectively.The specificity and AUC of the combination of the two were 97.37%and 0.945,respectively.Conclusions Serum miRNA-126 levels were abnormally decreased and miRNA-320 levels were abnormally increased in patients with coronary artery disease with intrastent restenosis. Both can be used as sensitive indicators to predict intrastent restenosis, their combined prediction has a higher value.
