Relationship between insulin resistance and inflammatory factors in rats with chronic intermittent hypoxia
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the relationship between insulin resistance and inflammatory factors ,adiponec-tin and leptin in intermittent hypoxia rats. Methods:30 male SD rats were randomly divided into two groups:nor-mal oxygen/ normal oxygen group ,2 weeks intermittent hypoxia group ,8 weeks intermittent hypoxia group ,10 rats in each group. The rats were divided into groups. Fasting blood glucose, fasting insulin, insulin resistance in-dex was calculated by steady-state model formula ,the simultaneous detection of total cholesterol and triglyceride , TNF-α,IL-6,IL-2,NF-κB,HIF-1,adiponectin and leptin, three groups were compared, and the analysis of the relationship between insulin resistance index and TNF-α,IL-6,IL-2,NF-κB,HIF-1,adiponectin and leptin. Re-sults:the total cholesterol,triglyceride,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-2,NF-κB,HIF-1,leptin,insulin resistance index were significantly higher in intermittent hypoxia rats than those in control group(P<0.05). HOMA-IR was positive-ly correlated with total cholesterol,triglyceride,NF-κB,HIF-1,IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α,leptin,and negatively cor-related with adiponectin(P<0.05). Conclusion:Insulin resistance in intermittent hypoxia rats may be related to the increase of inflammatory factors TNF-α,IL-6,IL-2,NF-κB,HIF-1,leptin and adiponectin. To investigate the re-lationship between insulin resistance and inflammatory factors in intermittent hypoxia rats.
