Abstract:A case of diffuse cutaneous mastocytosis was reported.A 6-month-old male infant presented with a one-month history of erythematous blisters and bullae on the trunk.Dermatological examination revealed diffuse yellowish-red patches and plaques on the back, with blisters and bullae arising on erythematous bases across the chest and abdomen. The Nikolsky sign was negative, while the Darier sign-indicative of mast cell activation—was positive.Histopathological analysis of skin lesions demonstrated subepidermal blister formation and dense, diffuse infiltration of mast cells within the dermis.Giemsa staining was positive. The paitent was eventually diagnosed with diffuse cutaneous mastocytosis.
