Abstract:Chronic eczema is a common clinical chronic inflammatory skin disease.Chronic eczema belongs to the traditional Chinese medicine"wet sores"category, the cause of its pathogenesis is complex, mostly caused by the interaction of internal and external factors, manifested as intense itching and easy to recur, seriously affecting the quality of life of patients.Professor Yan Ying, based on the theory of collateral disease, analyzed that the key to the pathogenesis of chronic eczema for the weakness of the complex is the deficiency of the collaterals, the impassability of the collaterals, and the blockage of the collaterals by dampness and heat.In treatment, both dredging and tonifying methods are employed, with the dredging method being the main one.It is divided into three levels:tonifying collaterals, dredging collaterals, and clearing collaterals.Tonifying c ollaterals focuses on replenishing qi and nourishing blood to repair the deficiency and damage of collaterals;dredging collaterals emphasizes on dredging stasis to restore the circulation of qi and blood;clearing collaterals mainly aims at expelling dampness and heat to smooth the pathways of collaterals. It aims to provide a basis for diagnosis and treatment in the syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic eczema, and one proven case is attached as evidence.
