Advances in gene therapy for monogenic skin disorders

Abstract：Genodermatosis are genetic disorders caused by gene mutations,which are difficult to cure with traditional treatments.Gene therapy,by replacing,correcting,or regulating pathogenic genes,offers novel approaches for treating monogenic inherited skin diseases.However,clinical application of gene therapy still faces challenges such as treatment efficiency,gene delivery,immune responses,off-target effects,and high costs.Future research requires continuous efforts in technological innovation,clinical validation,and interdisciplinary collaboration to advance the development of gene therapy for monogenic inherited skin diseases.
