Combined epidermal-connective tissue nevus of proteoglycan:a case report

Abstract：A 46-year-old male patient presented with brown papules and plaques on the left lumbar skin for more than 2 years.Histopathological finding showed hyperkeratosis of epidermis,hypertrophy of stratum spinosum,increased pigmentation in the basal layer,infiltration of a few inflammatory cells around superficial dermal blood vessels,and mucoid substances was deposited in the upper dermis.Alcian blue staining revealed the deposition of mucin in upper dermis.Diagnosis:connective tissue nevus of the proteoglycan.
