Abstract:An increasing number of reports describe the abnormality of the gut microbiota and its associated metabolic pathways in patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),manifesting as decreased gut bacterial diversity.Exploring the correlation between intestinal flora and systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)holds certain reference value for further research on the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus and finding new treatment options.Fecal microbiota transplantation may become an effective approach in clinically modulating gut microbiota dysbiosis and treating systemic lupus erythematosus.
