Advances in cell enescence and related anti-aging strategies

Abstract：Cell senescence occurs at the cellular level,is a stable terminal state of cell cycle arrest,which causes various senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP).The pathogenesis mainly involves DNA damage,telomere dysfunction,proto-oncogene activation,mitochondrial dysfunction,chromatin degeneration,and SASP composition and regulation.Cell senescence involves keratinocytes,fibroblasts,melanocytes and various immune cells.The treatment includes senolytics strategy,senomorphics strategy and regeneration technology that regulates senescent cells to restore normal physiological and secretory functions.In this paper,the related mechanisms of cell senescence,changes of skin senescence cells,anti-aging strategies related to cell senescence and their research progress are reviewed.
