Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficiency and safety of medical anti-aging dressing in improving wrinkles in facial photoaging. Methods A total of 105 females with facial photoaging(Glogau photoaging classification grades Ⅱ-Ⅳ,Fitzpatrick skin classification grades Ⅲ-Ⅳ)were enrolled in the trail, who were treated with the test dressing(n=70)and control dressing(n=35)for 12 weeks and followed up for 16 weeks.Facial photos were taken at 0w,2w,4w,8w,12w and 16w(4 weeks after treatment)to evaluate the clinical scores of wrinkles. Before and after the treatment, the absolute values of wrinkles were calculated by a VISIA analyzer, and the dermal thickness was measured by 50MHz skin ultrasound.Any adverse reactions were recorded during the treatment, and patients'satisfaction scores were also recorded after the treatment. Results A total of 100 patients completed the clinical trial, including 67 cases in the test group and 33 cases in the control group, while 5 patients were lost to follow-up during the trial. After the 12-week treatment, the clinical scores and VISIA absolute values of test group wrinkles in the test group showed a statistically significant decrease(P<0.05).The dermal thickness of the test group also increased significantly(P<0.05).4 weeks after the treatment, except for glabellar wrinkles(P<0.05),the clinical scores of wrinkles in other areas of the test group were increased compared to 12w,but without statistical significance(P>0.05).The effective maintenance rate was 76.72%.The incidence of adverse reactions in the test group and control group was 4.29%and 5.71%,respectively.The patients'satisfaction scores in the test group and control group were 77.14%and 28.57%,respectively.Conclusion Medical anti-aging dressing,as a non-invasive method, can effectively and safely improve facial wrinkles caused by photoaging.
