Abstract:Objective Summarized the clinical characteristics and treatments of 85 cases with bullous pemphigoid(BP)to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of BP.Methods The clinical data of 85 BP cases were collected from Jan.2017 to Dec.2020 in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, including onset age, gender, total hospital stay, clinical manifestations, laboratory examination, treatment, clinical effect, underlying diseases, misdiagnosis and recurrence. Results BP affected mostly the elderly over 60 years old,its peak incidence was 70-79 years old,the clinical manifestations of BP were diverse,18.82%of patients were accompanied by mucosal involvement,62.35%of BP patients were misdiagnosed in the early stages. Most patients were admitted with increased eosinophils,IgE and D-dimer.Hypertension,diabetes and cerebrovascular disease were still the most common complications of BP patients, but it's worth noting that five patients developed VTE.91.76%of patients were systematically treated with glucocorticoid, among which 35 patients were treated with glucocorticoid alone and 43 patients were treated with glucocorticoid combined with other drugs;Of the 85 patients,4 gave up treatment, and the rest were cured or effective; The total effective rate was 95.29%.Conclusions BP occurs most common in elderly patients over 60 years, the clinical manifestations of BP were diverse, prone to misdiagnosis in the early stages, histopathology and immunopathology should be given to exclude BP.Systemic use of glucocorticoid is still the main choice for the treatment of BP,severe disease requires higher dose of glucocorticoid
