Application prospects of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes in the treatment of dermatosis

Abstract：Recently,an increasing number of studies have demonstrated that mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)-derived exosomes(MSCs-Exo)can not only emulate the biological activities of MSCs,but also have the advantages of lower immunogenicity,easier access,simpler preservation,and more stable properties compared with MSCs.The investigation of MSCs-Exo in various animal models of diseases has been consistently reported,indicating its potential as a promising"cell-free"therapeutic method.This article presents a comprehensive overview of the biological characteristics,functions,research advancements,and potential applications of MSCs-Exo in the treatment of skin diseases.
