Research progress of combined melanocyte cells transplantation in the treatment of vitiligo

Abstract：Vitiligo is a common depigmentation disease with complex pathogenesis.There is no specific treatment at present.Common clinical treatment methods include drug treatment,phototherapy,and surgical treatment.In recent years,the development of cell culture technology and stem cell regenerative medicine has made new progress in the treatment of vitiligo.Among them,the establishment of a cell co-culture model facilitates the study of cell-cell interaction mechanisms,further clarifies the pathogenesis of vitiligo,provides a theoretical basis for the application of cell transplantation in the treatment of vitiligo,and is expected to open up new directions for cell transplantation in vitiligo.This article reviews the application of cell co-culture technology in the treatment of vitiligo.
