Abstract:Objective To evaluate the dermoscopic and histopathological features of nonpigmented eccrine poroma. Methods The dermoscopic and histopathological features of 17 histopathologically proven cases of nonpigmented eccrine poroma were analyzed retrospectively. Results The dermoscopic features of nonpigmented eccrine poroma include vascular structures, red globules and white structureless areas.Vascular structure was observed in 11 cases(64.7%).Polymorphic vascular pattern was observed in 2 cases(11.8%).Monomorphous vascular pattern was observed in 9 cases(52.9%).White structureless areas were observed in 17 cases(100%).Red globules were observed in 16 cases(94.1%).Furthermore,erosion was observed in 7 cases(41.2%).Scale was observed in all cases(100%).Conclusion Vascular structures, red globules and white structureless areas were common dermoscopic features of nonpigmented eccrine poroma.Dermoscopy helps to improve the rate of clinical diagnosis.
