The methylation related research progress in psoriasis
Abstract:Psoriasis is a multi-gene genetic disease caused by the interaction of many factors. Epigenetics is one kind of genetic changes that does not involve DNA sequence changes at the level of gene expression. The main mechanisms include DNA methylation, histone modification and noncoding RNA regulation. In recent years, many evidences had shown that the pathogenesis of psoriasis is related to epigenetics. There were many studies about methylation, in this paper the advances in epigenetic changes about methylation in psoriasis were reviewed.
