Clinical analysis of 712 cases with psoriasis
Abstract:Objective To summarize and analyze the clinical features of 712 cases with psoriasis in Hexi region of Gansu, and provide a reference for clinical prevention and treatment of the disease. Methods The clinical investigation of psoriasis patients was carried out in the form of questionnaire, and the SPSS 19 software package was used for statistical analysis. Results In the 712 patients with psoriasis, 398 were males and 314 were females, the ratio of male to female was 1.27:1, with the average age of 21.15±13.26 years, 20~49 years of age was the peak period of incidence, and there were 403 patients(56.60%) who had recurrence and aggravation factors affected by season. The distribution and location of the primary psoriatic lesions were mainly on scalp and extensor aspect of extremities, the most common subtype of psoriasis was psoriasis vulgaris, followed by psoriatic erythroderma, 227 cases(31.88%) had inducing factors, the most common associated diseases were metabolic diseases. Conclusion The incidence of psoriasis in male and female was similar in Hexi region of Gansu, and scalp is the main part of the initial site. The recurrence and aggravation of the disease is significantly influenced by season, and infections, dietary and alcohol abuse were common causes, the most common associated diseases were metabolic diseases. Effective preventive measures, psychological counseling and standardized treatment may achieve better effects.
