Approaching optimized management of psoriasis

Abstract:Psoriasis is an intractable disease that brings intense suffering to patients and challenge to dermatologists due to its recurrent disposition and poor response to treatment in severe or special type cases. The question as how to maximize a patient’s benefit and avoid serious adverse effect by best using the existing therapeutic options still remains a priority. In clinical practice, physicians should develop a consciousness to implement optimized management strategy based on the type and severity of the disease, do their best to address severe and difficult cases, improve patient’s understanding of the disease and adherence to treatment, so that the patients will be not hurt by mistreatment and have an improved life quality.
