Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma secondary to xeroderma pigmentosum: a case report

Abstract:A 21-year-old female presented with brown pigmentation on the face,neck,torso and limbs for 20 years.Dermatologic examination showed that there are hundreds of brown,dark brown pigmentation spots and patches on the face,neck,torso,arms and legs;atrophic scars scattered on the face;many well-defined ulcers distributed around the bilateral eyelids,bilateral buccal region and dorsum of nose,with pearl colored papules on the realm.Histopathological findings of ulcerative lesions suggested basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.
