A case of cheilitis granulomatosa misdiagnosed as angioedema

Abstract:A 36-year-old female patient presented with a 7 months' history of repeated diffuse swelling on upper lip.Histopathologic examination revealed slight hyperkeratosis and parakeratosis of the epidermis,patchy infiltration of lymphocytes,histiocytes and plasmacytes in the dermis with epithelioid cells and dilated lymphatic lumens.The diagnosis is determined as cheilitis granulomatosa.
