Skin dilatation applied in the treatment of cicatricial alopecia: a case report

Abstract：A male patient,21 years old,presented with cicatricial alopecia caused by scald for 18 years.The patient was treated by skin dilatation.Skin dilatation was fulfilled by dilator placement,then the scar area was removed and the defect was repaired by advancement skin flap.The incision healed well and the cosmetic effect was satisfied.Skin dilatation applied in the treatment of medium-sized cicatricial alopecia is worthy of clinical promotion.
